Our Services
Working with families, friends, colleagues, and communities, we embrace and encourage individuals as members of society who are fully capable of contributing to building a better, more inclusive, Ubuntu-driven, society. We provide the following residential and community support services to our clients in residential homes and in the community:
Live-in Program supervisor
Ubuntu Care offers a dual live-in Program Supervisor and a shift staff model for its residences. The live-in Program supervisor model offers a level of consistency and continuity of care that is especially effective with individuals who are in a constant need of support and care.
Promote Personal Development and well being
Home Support services may be provided in an individual’s private home or in an agency managed home setting. This service is provided in blocks of time scheduled throughout the week, based on the consumer’s needs.Our residential group homes include private home settings located throughout Androscoggin, Cumberland and York counties.
Support with activities of daily living
Support with activities of daily living involves assisting individuals, particularly those with physical or cognitive challenges, in essential tasks like grooming, dressing, bathing, and eating. This assistance, provided by caregivers or healthcare professionals, aims to enhance independence and improve overall quality of life
Medication administration
Medical administration entails the responsible and accurate dispensing of medications, typically performed by healthcare professionals such as nurses or pharmacists. This critical task involves the safe delivery of prescribed drugs to patients, including dosage management, proper timing, and adherence to specific administration protocols. The goal is to ensure patients receive their medications in a timely and precise manner, optimizing the effectiveness of treatment and promoting overall health and well-being
Assistance with self-care and self-management
Assistance with self-care and self-management involves providing support to individuals in maintaining their personal well-being and effectively managing their daily lives. This assistance encompasses a range of activities, including grooming, hygiene, medication management, and other aspects of daily living. Caregivers or healthcare professionals may offer guidance and aid to empower individuals in taking an active role in their self-care routines, promoting independence and overall health.
