Cydney holds a bachelor’s degree in Developmental Psychology, and is almost completed with her master’s degree in Behavioral & Developmental Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. Cydney has been in the field for over 10 years, practicing within agencies all throughout Southern Maine. She has worked with individuals with ID and ASD as well as working in Crisis, Trauma and Mental Health. Cydney is passionate about supporting knowledge to help others take care of their body and health through personal fitness, movement and nutrition. She’s passionate about supporting mental health access for those with ID and/or ASD along with co-occurring mental health disorders, access to community inclusions, and meaningful employment opportunities. Cydney’s professional expertise includes, conditional social work licensure, case management, early interventions, mental health, language deprivation, creation of positive support plans, safety plans, as well as many years spent in crisis intervention. When not at work, Cydney enjoys spending time outdoors or going to the gym, spending time with her boyfriend, their dog Bruin, along with friends and family.
