Sandy Mayer

I am a dedicated and experienced registered nurse with a passion for providing quality care to my patients. My journey in nursing began after my youngest child started college, prompting me to pursue my own dream of becoming a nurse. I obtained my ADN in 2007 and started my career on the cardiac floor, where I honed my skills and eventually became a trainer for new nurses. Over the years, I continued my education and received my BSN from Elms College in 2011. In 2014, I transitioned to a role as a Visiting Nurse, delivering personalized care to patients in their homes. Specializing in medication management, wound care, and intravenous therapies, I have worked extensively with diabetic and cardiac patients. Recently relocating to Maine to be closer to family, I now work as a Registered Nurse at Ubuntu Care, where I continue to make a difference in the lives of those I care for. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, and biking, as well as spending quality time with my loved ones.
